Jobs for Humanity has announced its partnership with Be My Eyes, an innovative app that provides real-time video assistance for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Starting on Apr 7, Jobs for Humanity career advisors will be able to field calls from the Specialized Help section of the app.

"We have a wonderful opportunity to connect forward thinking employers with talented candidates on Be My Eyes. Beyond connecting, we’ll train hiring managers and job seekers through the hiring process and into long term happiness. Every hire will change the life of everyone involved in the experience.” says Roy Baladi, founder of Jobs for Humanity.

At a time when many struggle with the impact of COVID-19, Jobs for Humanity will be able to provide remote guidance and consultation around job searching and applying as an underrepresented group. Joining companies such as Google, Microsoft and P&G as organizational supporters of the blindness community, Jobs for Humanity is leading the way for career platforms leveraging technology to connect with their clients and deliver services in a whole new way.

"Partnering with Jobs for Humanity provides the perfect opportunity for our users to find new job opportunities with the touch of a button. It's time we start embracing inclusivity in the workplace, and we are so excited to have Jobs for Humanity by our side to help make this happen." Says Carter McGrath, community manager at Be My Eyes.

Connecting with a Jobs for Humanity career advisor through Be My Eyes is as simple as entering the Specialized Help menu, locating Jobs for Humanity in the Careers category and making a call from our profile. Jobs for Humanity career advisors are ready to take calls on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 PM Eastern Time and can assist with questions regarding job searching, application process and assistance with navigating Jobs for Humanity services and the website.

With users worldwide and a growing family of company partners, Be My Eyes is one of the largest “micro-volunteering” platforms in the world – with its more than 4.5 million volunteers on call at all times to assist those who need an extra pair of eyes at short notice.
